More than 20 years ago, the Bernardo family developed one of the world’s first thin cider glasses. Nowadays, the Oviedo glass is a point of reference and quality and one of the thinnest glasses that can be found on the market.
But cider does not just live in the Oviedo glass. Although it was created to be a cider glass (with a thin wall and rim, ideal to “break” the cider and release all its sensory qualities), the Oviedo glass is also used for beer, gin and tonics or other types of mixed drinks.
Its large capacity (50 cl), thin rim and wall, and light weight make the Oviedo an authentic “all-terrain glass.”
