Our story began in in 1971, when José Ramón Bernardo founded the company Bernardo Representaciones in Asturias, Spain. Bernardo immediately noticed the need to develop a thin glass for locals to drink cider, a popular drink native to northern Spain. And that is when the SELLA was born: the authentically thin cider glass that is still the go-to, quality glass in this sector.
In the 21st century, we continued to develop a wider variety of ultra-durable, thin glassware. Thanks to the hard work of the second generation of our family (siblings Mónica, Nuria and Pedro Bernardo), we have left our mark and consolidated our position in the sector.
This is when we started to grow: we incorporated new production lines and grew our business network, servicing new regions and taking on clients all across Spain and the world.
As we developed and expanded, our facilities grew to their current size: 7,000 m2. The size of our facilities and stock allow us to provide our customers with quick and efficient service.
Our goal is to be the company our customers come to for quality work. Our process covers everything from design, development and worldwide product research to manufacturing and personalized services.
